For those who missed our first seminar, join Monterey Bay Alternative Medicine for a review of our first seminar, Cannabis 101! MBAM strives to provide current and future medical cannabis patients with the knowledge needed to make informed choices about their unique cannabis needs. Join us in the Dance Studio located inside of Seaside's Oldemeyer Center as we discuss the history of cannabis, the distinctions between strains and how the plant interacts with your own body. Learn more about the various methods of consumption and use to better understand how cannabis can help you.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
We ask that those who attend are of legal age to use medical cannabis, which is currently 18 years or older unless accompanied by a legal guardian or caregiver.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Oldemeyer Center has a handicap-friendly parking lot wrapping around the building, as well as parking on the street if the lot becomes full.
What can I bring into the event?
You can bring anything aside from the following: Alcohol, Illicit Drugs, Medical Cannabis (Because we are in a Federal Building), Weapons and the like. We will ask you to leave if you are seen in possession of any of these items while on the property. Medical necessities such as diabetic supplies are an exception.
